Christmas bin collections

Bins

Thanks you all for your help reducing Wiltshire’s waste!  2014 was a great year for recycling in the County.

Now that Christmas is here, you are probably wondering when all of that wrapping paper will be collected, right?  Well, there will be no collections taking place on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day. There will be no garden waste collections between Monday 23 December 2013 and Monday 6 January 2014, they will start again on Tuesday 7 January 2014.

You can leave your real Christmas tree next to your garden waste bin for recycling from Tuesday, January 7 2014 until the end of January. Christmas trees can also be recycled at any of the household recycling centres.

To check your next collection date click this link and enter your postcode – easy!

Have a green and pleasant Christmas from your local refuse team.
